The Eagles Are Back!
Mr. President and First Lady, our resident pair of American bald eagles, have returned for the third year at the U.S. National Arboretum. The Arboretum is collaborating with the American Eagle Foundation (AEF) the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, DC Department of Energy and Environment, and Alfred State, SUNY College of Technology, on providing high-definition eagle nest cameras. And, new for 2017, live sound will be captured and streamed through several new nest microphones!
See and hear the eagles live on the 4/7 live-streaming video at the AEF website, or visit in person to see the Arboretum through the viewing scope located below the Azalea Collection (see photo at left). Sign up for our E-Newsletter for updates about the eagles and other activities here at the Arboretum.
