FONA is thrilled to announce a new collaboration in the Anacostia Watershed: the Anacostia River Outdoor Volunteer Adventure Trail. Led by FONA, twelve local environmental organizations have come together to envision and build a vibrant, interconnected volunteer ecosystem in the Anacostia River area. To showcase the incredible network of volunteer opportunities in our area, we created the Anacostia River Outdoor Volunteer Adventure Trail Map, designed by local artist Maria Toro Quijano.
