The 24th Annual Lahr Symposium, Native Plants: Now

The 2010 Lahr Symposium, Native Plants: Now, inaugurates the 50th Anniversary of the National Arboretum's Fern Valley Native Plant Collection. Both the symposium and Fern Valley share the goals of promoting the beneficial use and preservation of native plants, and fostering a better understanding of our natural ecosystems. This year a nationally and internationally prominent group of presenters will share their current projects and insights from the worlds of eco-savvy design, horticulture, botany, and habitat conservation.
